Christensen Law Paralegal Stacey Schoenfeld

Stacey came to CLAW on attorney Tom Economy’s recommendation, as they had worked together previously at a large local firm. With 34 years of experience in personal injury law, she brings significant value as a paralegal, notary public, and member of the State Bar of Michigan Legal Assistants Section.

“In a busy practice,  it helps to be detailed-oriented and organized, ” says Stacey. But even more critical, she believes, is being responsive. “The clients are always my top priority.”  One thing she appreciates about working with Christensen Law is the firm’s commitment to being client-centric, which she readily acknowledges is different from many other practices.

She recalls a particularly memorable case that involved a client who called her almost every other day. “I enjoyed our chats; he was very pleasant and deserving.” When his case finally closed, he expressed his gratitude by sending her flowers. It was that kind of client focus that impressed her about CLAW when first joining the firm. “Dave has a great reputation for ensuring clients get the time they need to be heard, every step of the way.”

Outside of the office, Stacey’s home is filled with family, animals, and love (despite a Michigan-Michigan State rivalry). Together with husband Nathan and their teenage daughter Madison, the family includes Pugsly, Spartacus, and Poncho – a Boston Terrier, Boxweiler, and long-haired cat, respectively. And of course, Kiwi, the 3-year-old bearded dragon.

Highly creative, Stacey enjoys 5-d painting, reading novels, anything Wizard of Oz, riding her stationary bike, and traveling in her downtime. The family frequently visits their condo in Hilton Head, South Carolina, where Stacey hopes to retire one day.  And every year without fail, she and her three siblings get together for their traditional “sisters’ trip,” complete with matching and themed outfits to celebrate the event. “Family is everything,” Stacey says – and we heartily agree.

Congratulations, Stacey, we’re so very glad that you’re part of the Christensen Law family!
