LEGAL ASSISTANT
Are you an experienced, highly skilled legal assistant with a passion for personal injury law? We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our esteemed legal team. With a minimum of 5 years’ experience, your expertise in trial preparation, docket/case management, and client relations will play a pivotal role in the continued success of the firm.
You’ll be the backbone of a busy litigation team, managing the day-to-day deliverables and ensuring deadlines are met. Ensuring the timely progression of cases through completion and maximizing the efficiency of the attorney team, your responsibilities will include:
- Manage case calendar and complex dockets, ensuring deadlines are met with precision.
- Research and collect data for case and trial preparation.
- Schedule and prepare client and witness depositions.
- Prepare and file documents with the courts, draft various discovery motions.
- Organize and maintain case files, documents, and records.
- Assist attorneys during trial preparation, managing and preparing exhibits, jury documents, and evidence to facilitate smooth proceedings.
- Provide compassionate, timely, and clear communication to clients, addressing their concerns and inquiries promptly.
- Work independently in multiple software programs to document and report case activity and milestones.
- A myriad of additional duties to ensure the efficient and timely progression of the team’s caseload.
