Yes. Your first call should be to the police. They can help control traffic, get you to safety, and contact the paramedics if you are hurt. Police will also assess the situation, take reports, statements, and photos of the scene, determine who is at fault, and issue tickets. They can also arrange for tow trucks.
Your next priority should be your own health. If you have been injured, go to the doctor or emergency room right away. Some injuries, like traumatic brain injury get worse the longer they remain untreated, so make sure to see your doctor as soon as possible. Don’t worry about the cost. You can figure that part out with your attorney later.
