Alalah Melendez is a litigation paralegal with four years of personal injury experience supporting attorneys in complex injury and civil matters. She brings valuable experience in legal drafting, discovery, medical and billing record review, lien coordination, and trial preparation, with a background that includes bodily injury, PIP, provider claims, dog bite, premises liability, medical malpractice, civil rights, and employment law matters. Detail-oriented and highly organized, Alalah plays an important role in helping cases move forward efficiently while supporting both attorneys and clients throughout the litigation process.
Alalah is a proud Wayne State University graduate, where she earned a bachelor’s in criminal justice and forensic investigation. She hopes to continue her Masters at MSU in cybersecurity while staying engaged in survivor-support advocacy work, and possibly one day open a non-profit to assist women in Detroit.
Outside of work, Alalah enjoys reading, journaling, sketching, crocheting, working out and board games, and exploring new restaurants. She and her fiancé especially enjoy traveling abroad – with Paris and Japan on the docket.
