CHRISTENSEN LAW CELEBRATES SARAH STEMPKY-KIME AS A 2025 LEADER IN THE LAW

Managing Partner Wins Prestigious Industry Recognition

Christensen Law is thrilled to share that Sarah Stempky-Kime, managing partner at Christensen Law, has been named a 2025 Leader in the Law by Michigan Lawyers Weekly. This award honors lawyers who demonstrate exceptional skill, professionalism, and dedication to their clients – recognition Sarah has earned through years of compelling courtroom influence.

“She truly exemplifies the definition of Leader in the Law,” says firm founding partner David Christensen. As Managing Partner, Sarah has spent more than 15 years representing accident victims throughout Michigan, securing record-setting, multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements that restore dignity and security to clients whose lives have been upended by catastrophic injuries. Known for her dedication and fierce advocacy, she has earned recognition as one of Michigan’s top young trial attorneys and national acknowledgment as a member of ABOTA (American Board of Trial Advocates), an elite organization admitting only a select few litigators.

This award reflects not only her career results but also the integrity, preparation, and care she brings to every case. Colleagues and clients alike know Sarah for her meticulous preparation, genuine compassion, and her unwavering commitment to standing up to insurers to protect the rights of those she represents.

Sarah works to improve the industry through service on the executive board of the Michigan Association for Justice and the State Bar’s Negligence Section Council, advancing fairness and accessibility in the state’s justice system. “She has long been a fierce proponent of justice for those impacted by negligence and brings tremendous insight to effecting the Section’s goals and improving trial and appellate litigation,” said Christensen.

Also a frequent presenter for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education, Sarah mentors attorneys statewide and nationally, sharing strategies that strengthen and advance the profession. As one of the few women managing partners at a Michigan personal injury law firm, she is committed to fostering collaboration, mentoring and empowering her team, and creating a positive, growth-oriented workplace.

For Sarah, this award represents years of supporting injured Michiganders and their families during life-altering moments. This peer-nominated recognition equally highlights the respect she has earned among fellow attorneys and the gratitude of the clients she serves.

We congratulate Sarah on this well-deserved honor. “Without question,” says Christensen, “Sarah’s legal prowess and courtroom success have established her as a leader in Michigan’s trial bar. Her dedication to clients, colleagues, and the broader community inspires everyone she works with, reminding us of the power of commitment, integrity, and perseverance in the pursuit of justice.”
