Jenice is a litigation paralegal based in our Southfield office, supporting the team from presuit handover through verdict and post-judgment. She manages discovery and disclosures, files pleadings and motions, coordinates depositions, IMEs, and mediations, and organizes medical records, bills, and summaries to build clear damages proofs. With eight years as judicial staff and experience in both circuit and federal courts, she brings great insight into court expectations, scheduling, and e-filing, keeping cases moving, deadlines met, and clients informed.
She once considered becoming an attorney herself but found her calling in the paralegal seat where detail, empathy, and momentum meet. She prides herself on being the bridge between clients and the courtroom.
Outside the office, her joy is family, with three children, three grandchildren, and frequent weekly gatherings. You’ll find her at basketball and football games, strolling the Detroit Zoo, or unwinding with some R&B and a good book. She’s also a devoted family caregiver to her loved ones, and she’s planning a bucket-list trip to Hawaii. At home, Ziggy, her 18-month-old Cavachon, keeps everyone smiling, especially Jenice.
